Good evening my friends (Live from Reno/Nevada and waiting to go to Vegas for MMS next week!)

We finally have 2013 CU1 available and that means open season to find and remove legacy Exchange Servers and upgrade the environment to Exchange Server 2013.

We know a lot of you have been waiting for this, and so it is with great excitement that we announce that Exchange Server 2013 RTM Cumulative Update 1 (CU1) has been released to the web and is available for immediate download! This is the first release using the new servicing model for Exchange Server 2013. In addition to this article, the Exchange 2013 RTM CU1 release notes are also available.

There are a couple of gotchas when doing the transition and new features on this new release, so it is really important to go through the entire post listed below.
