Exchange Server 2013 is the current of the production and it was released on 03-December-2012 and it comes in two editions: Standard and Enterprise.

First Step: Download the product

If you are planning to study/test Exchange Server 2013, you first step is to download the product and the latest release can be downloaded from here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=41994

The Trial is valid for 120 days and after that period there is no loss of functionality of the product.
