Test-CSEXStorageConnectivity returning error code=5

In some scenarios during the integration tests between Skype for Business Server 2015 and Exchange Server 2013 we may see the error code=5 in the output of the Test-CSEXStorageConnectivity.

Solution


When testing the integration (Server to Server Authentication S2SOAuth) between Skype for Business and Exchange Server 2013, you may get the following error, as shown in the figure below.

Test-CSEXStorageConnectivity: EXCreateIteam exchange operation failed, code=5, reason=#CTX{ctx:{traceId:

A possible solution for this error is to have the user that is running the cmdlet as part of the RTCUniversalUserAdmins as shown in the picture below.
